Foam concentrates have been widely used for suppressing Class A and Class B fires. It is a composed of a mixture of water and foam concentrate mixed with air. Foam concentrates have different compositions such as synthetic foam and protein based foam.

The different types of foams are used depending on the application and the composition mixture of foam and water.
